MISSION: Together with God, come to the aid of at risk children and to develop their spiritual, family and societal life.
Compassion Program started with 210 children and currently serves 350 children.
As more facilities become available (i.e. kitchen and classrooms), there are plans to expand program by 100 additional children per year, up to a maximum program size of 1000 children.
Children are divided into groups by age.
- Youngest children (age 3-4) max. group size 22
- Age 5-6 max. group size 26
- Age >7 max. group size 30
Children age 3 - 9 are eligible to enter Compassion Program; the program continues until child/youth completes his schooling and becomes a contributing member of the society. In order to maintain eligibility in program, a child/youth must continue to attend school and be making satisfactory progress toward completion. If the child/youth drops out of school they will lose their support.
